Static & PHP Sites

Provision isolated static or PHP websites with deterministic webroots, virtual hosts, TLS and backup workflows.

One-Click documentation · Step-by-step guide

Static/PHP deployment creates a site environment with its own system user, filesystem boundary and web-server configuration rather than dropping files into a shared global document root.

Commands

one-click --web-create
one-click --web
one-click --web-admin
one-click --web-backup
one-click --ssl

Web-server Integration

Supported deployments can use NGINX or Apache. The workflow creates the webroot and virtual host, validates configuration, integrates TLS when requested and reloads services only after the generated configuration passes validation.

Paths

/etc/one-click/sites/<domain>/www
/etc/one-click/sites/backups/<domain>
/etc/letsencrypt/live/<domain>

After Creating Your Site

  1. Confirm the virtual host points to the intended website directory.
  2. Verify the default page loads before replacing it with your content.
  3. Use the site's management menu to check file ownership and permissions if uploads or updates fail.
  4. Configure DNS and then use the shared SSL workflow for HTTPS.
  5. Test a site backup before changing or cloning a live website.

Site Permissions

Each site should use its own account and webroot. Run the built-in permission repair for the selected site rather than applying broad ownership changes to the server. Keep application credentials and configuration outside publicly served files.
